Frank Ettenberg, born Brooklyn, New York, May 7, 1945

1959,1960: Study with Earl Jacobs, Jr. an abstract-expressionist painter and art teacher. Decision to become a fine artist, Summer 1960

1961: Scholarship painting class with Prof. Robert Kaupelis, New York University

College Years: BS in Design, 1966, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA
Master of Arts in Painting, 1971, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA

Artist-in-Residence grant with solo exhibition, Roswell Museum and Art Center,
Sept 1971-March 1972

1972 until 2003: Lived and worked, exhibited regionally and in Santa Fe.

1990: Marriage with S.S. (from Obersteiermark), at FE's loft in the Lensic Bldg in Santa Fe

Summer 1991: First travel to Austria from Santa Fe
